Delivery of CMI RADES Project HRSG Modules.
RADES project is the first project that was signed between DNT and CMI, It takes two year from factory Audit to supplier qualification due to strict requirements from CMI. Since it's the first project, it is extremly inportant to DNT.
There are totally 28000 fin tube to header welds, all of which are full penetration type, CMI requires 100% boroscope inspection for these welds. In order to do so, DNT purchased Olymbus Boroscope and designed speical tools to carry out the inspections with efficiency.
CMI Supervisor is extremly strict with the T91 fin tube welding, DNT figured out wayx to improve fabrication method as well as the argon filling tool and met all requirements.
The project lasts for 6 months and then delivered to end user in Tunisia, Latest news is that the modules were successfully erected on the site and this marks the first successful cooperation between DNT and CMI.
